– I can’t recommend Physio Led Pilates enough! Lucy was hugely instrumental in my recovery following back surgery – I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for her! I had no confidence in my back, and Lucy has guided me progressively through my rehab using Pilates as a safe method to regain strength and stability, giving me the confidence to return to the things I love, like mountain biking. –

Equipment we use
Small equipment is used in some classes to give a varied and tougher work out, including:
Resistance bands, loops and cords for strength and controlled stretching
Pilates soft weights for building upper body strength and as markers for body control
Foam rollers for balance, core control, flexibility and myofascial release
Spiky balls for a deep therapeutic massaging effect or for proprioceptive feedback
Ova balls for added core strength, control work and lower back and neck release
Pilates Magic Circles for added resistance and to reach the places that other equipment can’t!
Please note we will be limiting the amount of equipment at sessions during COVID-19. Regrettably, we are currently unable to share our pilates equipment with you. Your instructor will advise you on where to purchase spiky ball (9cm), ova ball (9 inch) and theraband (1.5m) (some may be available to purchase from your instructor). Alternative home options will also be given for those who do not wish to buy additional equipment. We are hopeful to make larger items of equipment available again during classes once it is safe to do so.
