I am the founder of Physio Led Pilates and am delighted to be working with so many great clients and instructor colleagues within the local area. I am a HCPC registered and Chartered Senior musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and a fully certified APPI Instructor.

My love for Pilates has continually developed over the 18 years that I have been qualified, using it successfully with a multitude of clients and their conditions within the NHS and private sector. I have a specialist qualification in antenatal and postnatal Pilates, and have enjoyed additional training in Pilates for hypermobility, spinal surgery , scoliosis, osteoporosis and neck rehabilitation.

I get great satisfaction from working with clients on a 1-2-1 basis or within a class to try and ensure that they get the most from their workout and achieve their goals. Pilates is an incredibly empowering exercise as it can be adapted and modified for all whether you are post surgery, a new mum or a rugby player!

I am a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, specialising within Occupational Health in the NHS. I frequently treat the effects of poor posture and working habits. Pilates is a great form of exercise to counteract these effects by promoting controlled stretching, graduated core strengthening and ultimately improving posture. Few people are also aware of the stress relieving effects that pilates has and so is the perfect way to finish a day.

I like to keep active looking after my 2 young sons and husband and I enjoy being outdoors, walking the dog or cycling with the family. I look forward to seeing you in a class soon!

I am a HCPC and Chartered Physiotherapist with an MSc. in Sports Physiotherapy. With extensive experience as a Specialist musculoskeletal Physiotherapist I currently work as a senior physiotherapist within NHS Lothian.

I am a keen long distance runner and have experienced the performance benefits of a strong stable core, particularly in endurance events to enhance performance and decrease risk of injury. I believe that Pilates is a wonderful form of mind/body exercise for anyone of any age. I feel enriched by my Pilates practice and finish a session feeling tension free and energised. I look forward to helping you feel and see the benefits of regular Pilates practice.

I am a fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I have over 16 years of experience working in the NHS and have also worked in private practice and with various sports teams.

My interest in Pilates started following the birth of my 2nd child.  Pilates helped me rebuild my core strength and improved my posture. Feeling inspired, I then decided to do my teacher training and help spread the power of Pilates! I now use these skills regularly in my daily Physiotherapy practice. I see the beneficial effects that Pilates can make to peoples everyday lives.

I’m a senior Chartered Physiotherapist (HPCP registered) with over 17 years of experience. I presently work part-time in a busy NHS hospital treating a range of conditions including back, neck and shoulder pain as well as sports injuries and post operative rehabilitation. I began my Pilates training a number of years ago and use the exercises regularly with great results in clinic and in class.

Having attended the classes myself, I love the strengthening, stretching and toning as well as the ‘me’ time aspect – I always come out of class feeling refreshed, relaxed and taller. As a mum of 3 and Physio Led Pilates enthusiast, I’m really excited to be teaching our new mother and babies classes which offer toning and gentle core work in a baby friendly environment.  I look forward to meeting you!

I am an experienced Senior Physiotherapist with a post graduate qualification in manual therapy, currently working in NHS West Lothian. I initially developed an interest in Pilates after having my first child and was an attendee at Physio Led Pilates following my second child. I really enjoy how Pilates makes me feel; stronger, more flexible and it has helped improve my posture as well as giving me a sense of relaxation and well being.

I also appreciate how invaluable Pilates can be in complimenting the effects of manual therapy to encourage longer term benefits. I thoroughly enjoy teaching Pilates in the class setting and clinical practice to a wide range of people with differing abilities. Out with Pilates, I enjoy being active and spending time with my two children.

I am a Senior Specialist NHS Physiotherapist with additional qualifications in injection therapy and Pilates. I became a complete Pilates convert after it aided my recovery and rehabilitation from my back surgery. Lucy’s Pilates classes, combined with frequent Pilates practice at home, enabled me to develop a core strength and confidence in my back that I had been missing for many years. I have now been able to return to the sports I love, such as mountain biking and hill-walking, my posture is much improved, and I have a new passion in life besides outdoor activities!

The results I’ve experienced have led me to describe myself as a 'lifelong subscriber' to Pilates, and I felt inspired to become a qualified Pilates instructor to enable others to feel the difference that Pilates can make to their lives. I look forward to helping you!

I am a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, qualifying from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2004. I currently work part-time in the NHS and have 2 young children, so life can be pretty hectic! I started practising Pilates myself approximately 17 years ago and have found over the years that it has helped me with a variety life events from studying, to marathon training, to becoming a parent. I love the feeling of getting in tune with my body, stretching and strengthening and focussing on myself for a short while to get rid of the stresses and strains of the day.

After attending Physio Led Pilates classes myself and feeling so much benefit, I was inspired to undertake the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) Instructor training to enable me to share my knowledge and skills with others. I look forward to welcoming you to a class soon.
